Based in the Mount Joy area of Davenport near the Davenport Airport, Riverbend has been a trusted resource for professionals and the weekend mechanic alike. The business was started by lifelong auto recycler and restorer Jeff Smid. Jeff quickly established a reputation in the Quad Cities as someone that if he didn’t already have the part in stock could find it quickly through his regional network. Wholesale pricing to everyone and competitive warranties helped him gain a loyal customer base. After over 40 years in the business, Jeff decided retire in 2022 and sold the business. Under new ownership, the Riverbend Recycled Auto Parts brand was launched in 2023 to show our commitment to automotive recycling through environmentally responsible practices. We remain committed to landfill avoidance through the use of modern recycling methods.
